You might think that it look's peaceful to paint outdoors?

Deanne Lemley paints children wonderfully in the Impressionist style. But how does she get them on canvas? First ask the Mother for a play date and put it on the calendar. Gather together some costumes that fit. Order sunshine! Oh, and ask the kid's not to fight & fuss too much while the Artist is painting them. Meet at the Rose Garden when all those things come together. Weew! And better pack some good food with lemonade to keep the stomach rumble down or you'll be packing up before she has the paints on the pallet. Years of drama...that's why we love these paintings here at Art Legacy Shop so much. We remember these times and events. How can we begin to tell you how special it was 24 years ago when our children were little? I am so thankful that this is captured by my Mum.
